A couple months ago I was asked to lend my painting "Remembering Iwo Jima" for a movie. Little did I know this would be a film starring Viola Davis and Liam Neeson titled "Widows". It's about four widows who are obligated to finish a botched heist of their four spouses after they were killed. Here is a link from a Chicago news website, 'DNA Info' - https://www.dnainfo.com/chicago/20170606/hyde-park/hyde-park-filming-widows-electric-dreams-mercedes-benz-commercial I have no idea how the painting will be used on-set. Honestly, I'd just be glad to see it in the background for a couple of seconds. But most of all, I hope it is safely returned. This is always something that is in the back of my mind when a piece goes out. I don't think I'll ever be able to ignore the worry of having a painting damaged. |
